Welcome to our Comenius Blog

Welcome to the IES Cardenal Lopez de Mendoza Comenius blog. We have been working on our Comenius project for the past 2 years. Our Comenius project is called "Enjoy Your Meals, Be Healthy Be Happy." Students from 4th year of the ESO are participating, and we work together with students from Gubbio, Italy. The overall theme of our project is health. It is a topic which emcompasses many issues ranging from eating habits, physical exercise and nutrition to eating disorders, the influence of the media on body image and the evolution of the concept of beauty.

  1. Hello!
Well, the thing that I like most of our trip to Italy was walking up and down its streets and the people who lives there.
I really love this town, the medieval houses and roads that still like its days, the simple but beautiful monuments... but the best thing is the cheerful people. They are like a big family and they take care of everybody.
I hope that we can return soon!

  2. Ciao! - Hello! - ¡Hola!
The experience that I liked most of our short week in Gubbio was undoubtedly the walks we took for this little town.
We saw each beautiful medieval house, all radiated a beautiful splendor, in spite of being a "city" Little had a great atmosphere in the streets and big monuments perhaps not in terms of height but from us about beauty.
Another thing that struck me was very much the people there were all spectacular, all nice, all nice, definitely good people and if they could help in something they did not hesitate a second.
I also liked the outputs we did in Florence and Perugia.
For me, ultimately, it is very difficult to choose just one thing to comment to end so I would say that was an experience I would like to repeat and I will miss being there very much and people.

  3. Hello,
I like a lot the trip to Firenze because I think that is one of the most beautiful town in Italy.
I like a lot the monuments which we have seen like the “ Ponte vecchio ” the “ Duomo” and the “ David” which was near “ Palazzo Vecchio ”. In Firenze we buy a lot of souvenirs.
I also like the picnic in the mountain, I think that it was very good prepared by the italians.
I like a lot the experience and I want to repeat the experience again the next year.
    Ciao

  7. Ciao!Hi!
One of the things I liked most was our visit to Assisi, the last day.
This is because it is a beautiful city with much history. There we saw the monastery of San Francisco and a major church. We walked around the town too.
This is only one thing I particularly liked, but all week was fantastic (for the people, place, food ...) and I would like to repeat sometime.
    Bye!

  10. Hi!!
These days in Gubbio will be unforgetable:
First, because of all that nice italian people who were there. I can't forget Lorenzo and his funny moments, Giamma with his extrange voice and his spanish taught by Adrian...
Secondly, the match on wednesday was, in my opinion, one of the best moments in there we met really nice people and we enjoy ourselves a lot.
It was a pity that on saturday we couldn't stay all together in the disco but it was good

For that and for others reasons, this has been one of the best weeks of my life :D

  12. Hello!
Well, first of all, I must say this trip has been quite good due to the great atmosphere and the nice people we met.

My best day or the moment which I had the greatest time was Saturday night.I know some people didn't go to the disco, but even so, we had a great time with everybody.

Another fine moment was the football match we played, though we lost, we knew new people and played our favourite sport.

In summary, I have very good memories at all and I hope come back at some time.

  13. Ciao!!! :)
It's really weird to be at home after this awesome week in Gubbio. There are thousands of things I could talk about, but there are somethings I must mention. First of all, Benedetta. My italian partner who made my stay in italy perfect. She was always ready to help me, and I really had fun gossiping with her :P Second, the rest of the italians; they were so much fun :)I'll always remember that concert where our italians partners rocked out as hard as they could (:
And...finally....PUERTO RICO!! One of the best saturday nights ever! It was so cool to see everybody dancing and having fun.

It’s been a really intense week, just a week that has become one of the best weeks of our lifes.

    Maria (:

  17. Hello!!!

For me, one of the best days in that week was the Friday when we gone up the mountain in a cable-car, because since the up we could see a very beautifull landscape of Gubbio, and we gone to see the basilica of Sant Ubaldo near the top of the mountain (that was very beautifull), and that day we ate in a park and the food was delicious.

That week in Gubbio I'll never forget it, because all days were very funny.

    I liked very much Gubbio.
